Hello to everyone as part of the MAPP and community. I am pleased to be joining you all this year.
I am Angela Woodhouse, Senior Lecturer in Dance (Choreography) at Middlesex University. I am also a choreographer with a particular interest in collaborative practice, and make work across, theatre, gallery and site contexts. Most recently I have been touring a work called (Un)touched in collaboration with artist Nathaniel Rackowe and have created a digital work using thermal imaging cameras called Thermal Duets in collaboration with artist and long term collaborator Caroline Broadhead. More can be found here www.angelawoodhouse.co.uk
I look forward to sharing my work and discussing ideas with you all soon.
Dear MAPP students,
ReplyDeleteI would like to start a conversation around choreographic languages. To start us off I have posted here some links to works that might span some notions of what constitutes dance. We could direct our focus on languages from a number of points of view. Please do have a look and share your thoughts. You can also offer your own links to widen the debate (as one arises):
